TEWIN SOCIETY12 Firs Wood, Tewin Wood, Welwyn, Hertfordshire, AL6 0NZThis is a conservation group affiliated to the Hertfordshire Federation of Amenity Societies. It is a member of the Council for the Protection of Rural England. The Society seeks to improve and protect the parish of Tewin and its environs. In addition to itīs work on clearing obstructions from and protecting rights of way, the Society makes representations on planning matters. Members also plant trees and bulbs and care for ponds. They also organise meetings, evening classes and publish a newsletter. Subscription: Ģ3 per household (April 2006).
