LETCHWORTH AND DISTRICT ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY29 The Swallows, Blythway, Welwyn Garden City, Herts, AL7 1BXAim - A small friendly society interested in astronomy, they hold meetings and observing sessions. Meeting Times: Normally last Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm-10.30pm. Star parties 1-2 per month in Letchworth (see website for details). Venue for meetings: Plinston Hall, Broadway, Letchworth. Amongst their aims, one is to provide educational benefit to the local community by being able to give short talks to schools, clubs, cubs, scouts, etc. Contact: Mr N Ellis, Secretary
