HERTS AND ESSEX SOCIETY FOR SMALLHOLDERS AND GARDENERSHighfields Farm, Belmer Road, Burton End, Stansted, Essex, CM24 8ULOpportunity for people with an interest in smallholdings and Gardening to meet and share ideas and socialise. The monthly meetings include a speaker. Previous discussions have included: Dexter Cattle, pest control, rare breed poultry, alpacas, fruit tree pruning, kune kune pigs, cooking with honey, compost making, home made wine making, cheese, basket making, RSPB, animal feeds, poisonous plants. Venue: Normally Ugley Village Hall, occassionally outside visits arranged. Meeting times: 2nd Wednesday of every month from 8.00pm-10.00pm. Annual Membership fees are: Family Contact: Fiona Byatt
