HARDY PLANT SOCIETY (HERTS GROUP)20 St Stephens Avenue, St Albans, Herts, AL3 4ADVenue: The Wheathampstead Memorial Hall, Marford Road, Wheathampstead, AL4 8AY. Times: 1st Saturday of month from October to April at 2.00pm. Date of AGM: November. Herts Group HPS is one of 41 groups belonging to the National Hardy Plant Society. In Addition to a monthly winter programme they have a ´grand plant sale´ each May, an annual seedling exchange, a summer programme of outings to gardens and nurseries of interest and visits to members own gardens. Knowledge and expertise abound making the group on ideal focus for anyone wishing to expand their gardening horizons. Publications: Newsletter twice a year. Contact: Mrs Heather Osborne, Secretary
