CHIPPERFIELD HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY28 Phillipers, Garston, Hertfordshire, WD25 9SPShows held at Chipperfield Village Hall. The group aim to promote the cultivation of gardens and allotments. They hold horticultural shows in spring, summer and autumn. There are talks held several times a year with guest speakers. (Last two talks were: Developing a wildlife garden & something nasty in the garden - Pippa Greenwood). The Society has recently celebrated its 60th anniversary with a visit to the gardens of Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall at Highgrove. The Group is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, National Chrysanthmum Society, National Dahlia Society, National Sweet Pea Society and the Royal National Rose Society.
