DAY-CARE SESSIONS FOR THE ELDERLY (STEVENAGE)Bedwell Community Centre, Bedwell Crescent, Stevenage, Herts, SG1 1NATimes: Wednesday and Thurday from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Day care at this centre provides the opportunity for companionship and friends to chat to. Also, members can get involved in handicrafts, play bingo and take part in quizzes. Any monies raised from crafts and other fundraising activities goes towards outings. Older people attending sessions at the Centre must be self sufficient. Transport is provided for the frail and housbound. Hot meals are provided, both must be paid for by the individual. Hertfordshire County Coucil pays for the room rental and all craft materials.
