HARTHAM MASTERS SWIMMING CLUB72 The Briars, Hertford, Herts, SG13 7TR* Meeting times: Saturday 7.00am-8.00am weekly all year. * Venue: Hartham Leisure Centre, Hertford. * Costs: Please phone for prices. This is a friendly club for adult swimmers (over 18īs). As a Masterīs club they swim weekly to set schedules given by the clubīs coach. These schedules cater for swimmers of all abilities (who can swim at least 25 metres/1 length) and who want to develop fitness, stamina, stroke technique and endurance. The current membership is 30 with an age range of 24-72 years. The club enters several competitions each year including; the Herts Masters in June and the Herts Swimming League event in September. They also sometimes enter ASA competitions. There is no pressure on individuals to enter events, although this is a good way to monitor fitness through improved performance. If you would like to get up early on a Saturday morning and wish to give them a try, contact the Club secretary or coach. * Affiliated to: Hertfordshire Amateur Swimming Association; Southern Counties Amateur Swimming Association; Hertfordshire Swimming League.
