INTERNATIONAL ORGAN FESTIVAL AT ST ALBANSPO Box 80, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 4HRFounded in 1963 by the President, Dr Peter Hurford, the biennial Festival and based in St Albans Cathedral. The biennial Festival is centred around two organ competitions for Interpretation and Improvisation played before an international panel of jurors. These are open to young performers under the age of 34, selected by audition from all over the world. The Festival embraces many different events including concerts, recitals, masterclasses, jazz and excursions. There are also regualar series of monthly organ concerts.
