THE CAPEL PLAYERS26 Maple Leaf Court, Cross Road, Waltham Cross, Herts, EN8 7HUThis is a musical and drama group who perform singing and sketch shows to benefit local children´s charities. Their is a fundraising show and an Autumn cabaret and an annual 12-hour Singathon at the Brookfield Centre, usually in the summer and two 6 hour winter singathon also at the Brookfield Centre in December. They will also perform for any organisation, club or charity, either to aid the host club´s own charitable fund-raising or in return for a donation to the Players´ funds or current charity of the year. Any age can be catered for. It is advisable to give a few months notice as they get very busy. New members who like singing and having fun are welcome. They are particularly interested in recruiting good male voices. Over 12´s only please. Rehearsals are currently held on Thursdays at 8.00pm during the winter and Wednesdays during the Summer, at the Whitewebbs Centre, Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield.
