DENNIS HEATH - WOOD SCULPTOR (STEVENAGE)91 Leaves Spring, Stevenage, Herts, SG2 9BEDennis evolved into his artform from being a forester and conservationist and trying to salvage wood from the fire, that was 9 years ago. His work has taken him all over the country and 7 times to the USA, and he has worked in 4 European countries, along with many public art pieces. Awards: Fellowship of Digswell Arts Trust since 1997. Commissions: Gandalf seat for this years RHS Show Tatton Park; 5x8´ chess pieces to go to a Park in Chelmsford; Giant + set for Taylors of Harrogate. Exhibitions: All summer touring the country and exhibiting and demonstrating at craft shows; Many group exhibitions ar Digswell Arts Trust; Fresh Arts - Islington 2000; Boxford Gallery 3 months Solo Exhibition 1998/9. Publications: Essential Art; Which Garden; Telegraph; Chip Chats; Woodcarving Monthly. Teaches only approved chainsaw operators; Workshops for 7-17 years and adult community groups.
