CHEQUERSCoopers Lane, Potters Bar, Herts, EN6 4AGThe Chequers is a familly pub with a very large garden. We have a 4 Star EHO rating. We serve food daily, noon untill 2.30pm. The menu is varied with filled baguettes, Jacket Potatoes, Bar Snacks, homemade meals, and daily specials. A childrens menu is available (compiled by our children), and of course roast on Sunday. Sunday lunch is ussually a choice of Beef , Lamb or Pork, (childs portion available). Main meal £5.95 2 Course £7.95 3 Course £9.95 During the summer we hold family events in the garden, which is usually an entertainer for the children. The schedule of dates is listed below. And on Sunny Sunday“s and Bank Holiday“s the Barbeque and or Hog Roast will be providing food in the garden up until about 5pm. Throughout the year Wednesday eveing is Quiz Night, and you could win a gallon of beer. Entry is free, and the quiz starts at 9.30pm. ST GEORGES DAY English Lamb Roast, Wednesday 23rd April -should be ready to serve at 7pm. Family events Easter Egg Hunt held over E,aster 21st to 24th March, with a chance to win a Large Easter Egg. Easter Sunday 23rd March - Hog Roast should be ready to serve at 3pm. Sunday 27th April - Magic and Games in the garden, with food available from the Barbeque, all to start at 3pm. You could treat youselves to Sunday Lunch and then be entertained after. Sunday 25th May - Fun, Games and Face Painting in the garden, with food available from, the Barbeque, event starts at 3pm. Monday 26th May - Hog Roast ready to serve after 3pm. Fathers Day 15th June - Hog Roast after 3pm. Sunday 22nd June - Juggling in the garden, and food from the Barbeque. Sunday 20th July - More Fun in the garden, and Barbeque. Monday 25th August Hog Roast - after 3pm Sunday 7th September - The last of this years summer events, Magic and Games in the garden with a Barbeque. We also specialise in off site Caterering and Bar facilities, including Hog Roast and Barbeque Service, for all events and occasions.
