LEISURE ART AND CRAFT CLASSES (HATFIELD)101 Crawford Road, Hatfield, Herts, AL10 0PFThis is a leisure pursuit, learning and enjoying for children, teenagers, young mums, retired people or anyone looking for a hobby, in a relaxed atmosphere. Students are of mixed ability, working at their own pace and level in small, friendly classes. The students learn to use different mediums including, pencils, pens, crayons, pastels, watercolours or mixed media and are encouraged to develop their own style. The subjects vary from still life, illustrations - including manga, or using their own imaginations. Day/Time of classes: * Adults: Wednesday 1.30pm to 3.30pm or 7.30pm to 9.30pm (6 weeks at £54.00). * Teenagers: Wednesday 6.00pm to 7.30pm (from the age of 12 years old) (4 weeks at £28.00. * Children (from 6 years old): Monday from 5.00pm to 6.30pm (4 weeks at £28.00). Payable in advance * Fees: £54.00 for six two hour classes or £28.00 for four children´s classes (one and a half hours). Paid in advance. Both include refreshments. Private classes (subject to availability) cost £40 for one hour or £60 for two hours. June Copping also teaches craft classes including, tea bag folding, parchment craft, decoupage, Iris folding, by arrangement. June has been teaching art since 1990, with students ages ranging from 6 to 90 years old. A number of her students have attended her classes for several years. June´s personal preference is for painting nature - flowers, people, village scenes, fruit, vegetables or animals in mixed media. She is an accomplished watercolourist and her love of artwork shows through in the standard of her finished work. Classes are small and friendly, working at your own pace, covering various mediums including pens, pencils, watercolour, pastels and mixed media.
