MARK HUMPHREY CONTEMPORARY SCULPTUREBurloes Farm Studios, Royston, Hertfordshire, SG8 9NEMark Humphrey is primarily a stone carver who gained his initial carving techniques on the island of Gozo, Malta. He studied sculpting techniques at the University of Hertfordshire. He produces his sculptures from a wide variety of limestones, marble, alabaster and polyphant stone. He also produces Limited Edition sculptures in Foundry Bronze, Aluminium and composite metal and stone resins. He exhibits widely in galleries and group shows throughout England and Internationally. His sculptures have been selected by the Royal Society of British Artists, The National Society and many leading galleries. His sculptures can be found in public and private collections across the UK and in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Switzerland and the U.S.A. Mark holds a number of Open Studio events throughout the year and welcomes visitors to his studio by apointment
