She demonstrates versatility vocally , stemming from her cultural upbringing, which has rounded her vocal capabilities enabling her to concentrate on her most natural asset – her voice. Minika has performed all over the country, including at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, The Jazz Café, The Dorchester, The Design Museum, Trafalgar Square, Café Royal, London Weekend Television, BT Tower, Tate Modern, and Edinburgh Conference Centre. Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington Mica Paris, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott are just a few influences who continue to leave footprints in Minika’s journey in the music industry. Living with multiple sclerosis has certainly not deterred Minika from achieving her goals. If anything it has given her a zest for life, determined against all the odds to reach the hearts of many.
