HQ, Cutforth Road, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, CM21 9EAThe A.T.C. is a National Youth organisation with some 1000 units throughout the U.K.Membership is open to all 13-17 year olds with an upper age limit of 20. The aims of the Corps are: * To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force. * To provide training which will be useful both in the Services and in civil life. * To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship. Sawbridgeworth is particularly fortunate in that ´309´ has one of the most modern and well equipped headquarters in the country, with a very experienced and dedicated group of adult volunteer leaders.
